At the beginning of the semester, we were tasked to choose a letter of the alphabet to design based on the theme of sound, every day for fifty days. My letter was Z, and I chose to design mostly from the music I was listening to at the time. It was difficult to come up with something every day but some days it was incredibly fun to sit down and design.

I made almost all of these in photoshop. I really enjoy the creative freedom of this program and I have been using it for many years learning making art, so I am very familiar with it. I made them with no direction from my teacher other than that it has to be a letter Z and it has to be related to sound.

I had to pick ten or fifteen favorites and make them into a book with InDesign. You can see the crop marks and bleed because I had to cut out each page from cardstock and sew them together.
